Position: Children's Programs - Program Leader - Summer Camps

Rate: $18.65 per hour

If you enjoy working with children consider becoming a Program Leader during Summer Camp 2025. Program Leaders to help assist with planning and implementing all activities and typically work 20-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily supervision of children ages 5-16.
  • Facilitate activities such as arts, science, building and dramatic play in a classroom setting or gross motor games in the gym or outside.
  • Participate in all aspects of camp such as weekly swimming and field trips.

This position is for individuals who are at least 18 years old and who have documented experience working with kids in a childcare or teaching environment. This position is ideal for anyone looking for additional teaching or leadership experience.

Required Experience:


Minimum Requirements: 

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Minimum 460 hours of documented experience working with children.
  • Be able to obtain all trainings required to work in a licensed childcare environment (such as CPR, First Aid, Mandated Reporter Training).
  • Pass a TRAILS and FBI fingerprint background check.
