Position: Gymnastics Coach 

Rate $16.25/hour

Foothills is seeking a Gymnastics Coach. This position is responsible for the supervision and instruction of the gymnastics programs and coaching gymnastics C.A.R.A. teams. The position will keep accurate attendance records, develop lesson plans, learn and teach team routines, be present at all C.A.R.A. team gymnastics practices and meets, and evaluate and assess skill level and progress of all participants. The job may require shifts ranging from morning to evening hours and weekends. 

Required Experience:

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
  • One (1) year of previous experience in structured gymnastics programming.
  • Experience with supervising children ages 6 to 18 years old preferred.
  • Background in athletics, teaching, coaching and/or competing in gymnastics preferred.
  • Concussion recognition training is required prior to employment and must be renewed annually.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.
  • C.A.R.A. Safety Awareness certificate is required prior to competition season.
