Overview
A private principal based in Denver is seeking a highly organized, discreet, and service-oriented Personal and Executive Assistant to support both her personal life and her role as co-owner of a growing residential property management company.
This position combines traditional executive assistance with hands-on family and household support. The right person will enjoy moving between inbox and kitchen, spreadsheet and dog leash, travel logistics and vendor visits, all while keeping the principal's life running smoothly.
The principal has an established way of working and existing systems in place. The assistant is expected to plug into these systems, maintain structure, and keep things moving, not to redesign the operation.
This role is designed to grow. Over time, the assistant may take on broader responsibilities within the company as skills, trust, and interest develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Business and Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day executive support to the principal, with a focus on helping protect time, energy, and priorities.
- Manage calendars, appointments, and reminders, and coordinate meetings related to the property management business and community involvement.
- Assist with email triage and basic correspondence, drafting clear and professional messages as requested.
- Support company operations with light project follow up, document preparation, and organization of digital files.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal team members, ensuring follow through on agreed tasks.
- Use existing systems and tools for scheduling, task management, and documentation, and maintain accuracy and consistency within those systems.
- Personal and Household Support
- Maintain an orderly, welcoming home environment through light housekeeping and home organization, while coordinating with any external cleaners or vendors.
- Handle household errands such as shopping, returns, dry cleaning, and appointment scheduling.
- Manage laundry and basic wardrobe care, including packing and unpacking for travel as requested.
- Walk and care for the family dog, including feeding, exercise, and basic vet or grooming logistics.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repair visits, ensuring vendors have what they need and that work is completed as agreed.
- Travel and Logistics
- Plan and coordinate personal and business travel, including flights, hotels or short-term rentals, ground transport, and itineraries.
- Prepare travel documents, confirmations, and day-by-day schedules that are easy to follow.
- Adjust plans quickly when schedules change, and communicate updates clearly to the principal and any relevant parties.
- Communication and Relationship Management
- Serve as a professional and gracious first point of contact for selected communications, including vendors, partners, and community or networking contacts.
- Protect the principal's time by screening requests and helping prioritize what needs attention now versus later.
- Build positive working relationships with household vendors, service providers, and company partners while always representing the principal's values and expectations.
- Discretion, Judgment, and Reliability
- Handle sensitive personal and business information with complete confidentiality.
- Exercise sound judgment when making decisions on the principal's behalf within agreed boundaries.
- Anticipate needs, identify potential issues early, and offer solutions rather than simply reporting problems.
Candidate Profile
- Service-oriented, humble, and comfortable in a right hand role that blends personal and professional support.
- Naturally organized, detail-focused, and good at creating order in moving situations.
- Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing plans, and comfortable managing shifting priorities.
- Warm, friendly, and professional, able to interact with a variety of people while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Dog-friendly and genuinely comfortable working in both home and small-business environments.
- Values long-term relationships and is looking to grow with the principal and the business, not just find a short-term job.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Family Assistant, or similar role is preferred, light or early-career experience is welcome if supported by strong references and initiative.
- Strong comfort with Mac, Microsoft Office, and basic cloud tools such as shared calendars, online storage, and task managers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and concise style.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and follow through thoroughly.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Full-time position based in Denver, Colorado.
- Weekly structure is generally weekday-focused with daytime coverage, with flexibility to adjust based on travel, appointments, errands, or occasional personal or business needs.
- For the right candidate, an optional live-in housing arrangement may be considered, with clear expectations and boundaries around working hours and privacy.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation will be aligned with experience. For live-in candidates, room and board may be included as part of the total compensation package.
- Eligibility for paid time off and holidays, to be defined in the employment agreement.
- Opportunity for increased responsibility and compensation over time as the role expands within the business.
