The Opportunity:
The “Front Desk Receptionist and Assistant” position is a vital role at Stacey James Institute as you are the first point of contact for our students and clients. This position requires an outgoing personality. We’re searching for someone who is extremely organized and detail oriented, has great communication skills and has the natural ability to interact and engage with people and personalities of all types to provide an exceptional and impressionable experience!
Key Responsibilities: The essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Reception: greets students and clientele as they arrive, assists with transitioning the desk for the evening classes and clientele with the daytime Receptionist while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Scheduling: books and confirms appointments, ensures a smooth check-in, check-out process, rebooks new and existing appointments and maintains the scheduling calendar.
- Administrative: Answers all calls and distributes appropriately in a professional, welcoming manner, takes attendance, processes payments and manages cash drawer, provides program, product and services information, and responds to email in a timely manner. Assists with inventory management.
- Reporting: completes the daily clinic floor reports, attendance tracking reports (no-call; no-show, dress code violations; tardiness of student arrivals), and maintains excellent record keeping and client records in Prestige.
- Customer Service: provides stellar customer service to students and clientele. This position will work closely with management, our student body and clientele to ensure an excellent guest experience!
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ proven experience in a front desk/receptionist and/or customer service environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, phone and in-person) are required to be successful in this position. We strive to provide an impeccable experience for our students and clientele.
- Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with Google Workspace applications. We use Prestige as our POS system for transactions (can be trained and taught). This position will require heavy scheduling attributes.
- Must possess the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented and well organized.
- Strong problem solving skills with a ‘go-getter’ attitude and shows the ability and willingness to learn and adapt.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting pay from $21.00 per hour DOE.
- First performance review after 6 months with the potential for pay adjustments based on performance.
